Production

These are the jobs that we need people to do while on set. If you are unavailable to visit the sets during filming you can still apply for a promotional job but the following being listed is for people that can travel to set only. Promotional jobs include making posters and spreading the word via the internet.

Only apply if you are available for the entire month of August and can travel to all of the filming locations in the North-East of England. Be aware that you may be needed in October and December for reshoots.

You are welcome to apply for production if you haven’t auditioned or if you have auditioned for a nameless role only.

If you apply you are GUARANTEED to be included in the production of the film, despite your age. There are an unlimited number of positions, if you apply you will get you’re first choice of job. 

Stunt Supervisor

Your job will be to make sure that all the stunts are performed safely. It will be your job to make sure that the health and safety of the actors are guaranteed no matter what activity they are participating in on set. You will have to turn up to all locations in which stunts are taking place. This position needs o be filled by someone over the age of 13.

Make up Artist

It is your job to be in charge of all the make up needed on set. You will be in charge of applying actors make up when they arrive on set and touching it up throughout the working day. You will also be in charge of addressing fake wounds and grazes. You will be needed on set everyday.

Hairstylist

You will be in charge of preparing and maintaing the actors hair throughout the working day. The amount of time you will be needed on set for is dependant on the amount of interest in this position. You can also apply for the position of Make up Artist as well.

This position is to be filled by anyone aged 12 or over.

Cameraman

It will be your job to manage all the equipment and make sure all the appropriate angles are shot. This position must be filled by someone over the age of 12.

On set photographer

It will be your job to take pictures of the actors, during the shooting of their scenes, your photographs will be used to promote the film. You will be responsible for bringing your own camera to the sets. The amount of time you will be needed for depends on the popularity of this position. This position can be filled by anyone over the age of 11.

Costume Supervisor

Your job will be to manage all of the costumes needed on set. You will be responsible for bringing spare costumes. All costumes will be supplied to you by the producer, you just need to make sure they are handed out to the correct actor and to take them away from set at the end of each working day, you will be responsible for keeping them clean and bringing them to set each day.This position must be filled by anyone aged 14 or older.

Prop Manager

It is your responsibility to manage the props and make sure they are brought to the appropriate set on the appropriate day. All props will be funded for by the producer although if you lose any, you will be expected to reimburse. This position must be filled by someone over the age of 13.

Director’s Assistant

It will be your job to make sure the director has what they need. You will also be needed on set each day. You are responsible for tending to the whim of the director. This role must be filled by someone over the age of 11.

Cast Manager

It is your responsibility to make sure the cast is where they are supposed to be when they are supposed to be there. You are responsible for unaccompanied children under the age of 10 while they are on set. You are also responsible for making sure that the actors are in full costume and make up before shooting their scene. You will also be responsible of making sure that the actors have food and water when they request it, all of the requests will be funded by the producer. This position must be filled by someone above the age of 14.

Runner

You will be responsible for any odd job on set. The amount of time that you will be needed for on set depends on the amount of interest of this position. To fill this position you can be any age. If you apply for a different position but all the spaces are filled we will also over you this position.
